Resident Evil Zero Port for Wii Rumours

The folks over at Strategy Informer recently published a news article about a possible port of the classic Resident Evil Zero - which originally debuted on the Nintendo GameCube - coming to the Wii. It is rumoured that the Wii update of Resident Evil Zero will also go by the handle "Biohazard 0" in Japan, too.

If there is indeed going to be a Wii version of Resident Evil Zero released, it would be nice to think that there might be some bonus content and, obviously, the same level of care put into the Wii remote control scheme as that featured in the Wii port of Resident Evil 4. We'll just have to wait and see what Capcom have to say on the matter but I'm optimistic that these Resident Evil Zero for Wii rumours are true.

    if it is true, I would like to see it with the RE 4 style because I love that style but I still love the originals too

    It wont only just be released in Japan.
    Capcom is a multi-international company that works over the globe; the chances of the game only being released in Japan is extemly minimal.
    The chances are that the release date will come first in Japan, but will come to us a couple months later. Hope this helps

    Hi there , My name is Aymen , I'm from Tunisia , I'm a big fan of the resident evil series and this is the first time that I write for the residentevilnews website . so regarding the idea of having the resident evil o episode on Wii , I do not really agree with because I do think that this is an exclusive episode for the Gamecube , and in addition to this , I do not want to see the game being burned and bought for only 7 euros .Let me just remind you that in Tunis they use a special patch to make the WII read all sorts of burned dvds , so i really hope that you understand what I mean :)

    it will be released here in japan by july. I doubt that they will release it outside japan but as always,it depends on the market sales and mood of capcom since we cannot predict their craziness.

    i for one don't think that they will re release it for the wii because you can already play gamecube games on the wii so there is no use in remaking a gamecube game for the wii. the only reason re4 was released for the wii is cuz it was one of the most popular games ever released and nintendo players wanted to play the new features added and to be able to play it with the wii motion. also Aymen don't capitalize wii because WII looks like ur saying world war 2

    The game has no extras. and, unless you are in Japan, you won't be getting this. Japan only.

    I don't know....

    Resident Evil 0 for the Wii? Sounds iffy. Besides, with the control scheme of RE0 it wouldn't really fit. It'd bring a tear to my eye to witness Capcom screwing around with an already fantastic game, risking a great title just for the sake of money.

    Resident evil 4 wii edition is one of the best games i've ever played! Why cant they just pull there finger out, put some effort in and do resident evil 5 for wii! Surely they can! If they dont bring it out i think every single nintendo wii fan should never puchase a capcom or resident evil title again!!!!! Anyone agree? Anyone as annoyed by this as me?
