Resident Evil Essentials for PS2 Available @ Amazon
Published by residentevilnews
Resident Evil Essentials for the Sony Playstation 2 (PS2) is finally available over at Amazon USA for the price of $28.99. Sounds like a bargain to me considering it’s a brand new Resident Evil title. Resident Evil Essentials is basically a compilation of some of the best Resident Evil games to date all served up into a single tidy package.
The trio of Resident Evil games included in this great bundle are: Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, Resident Evil Evil Outbreak and, the critically acclaimed, Resident Evil 4 with the bonus content included (Ada Wong’s missions). If you don’t already own any of the Resident Evil games listed in the package, then you seriously must buy Resident Evil Essentials for PS2 and enjoy some of the best games that the Resident Evil series has to offer.
I thought it might also be a good idea to include a quick synopsis of all the games included with Resident Evil Essentials to help you learn just that little but more about them:
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X
After a brief sojourn away from Sony on Sega’s Dreamcast, Resident Evil returns to it’s spiritual console, this time on the all singing all dancing Playstation 2.
Claire Redfield has been captured by the sinister Umbrella corporation and imprisoned on one of their experimental island stations. Typically for a member of the Redfield clan, all hell breaks loose not long after she gets there and the poor lass finds herself up to her eyeballs in the undead.
It’s Resident Evil with the best graphics yet, including full 3D backgrounds, and a host of extra features not included in the Dreamcast version.
Resident Evil Outbreak
Resident Evil: Outbreak is the next evolutionary step in the multi award-winning game series and will see terror, once again, fill the streets of Raccoon City. The city’s citizens try to escape the devastating effects of a secret biological weapon that turns all living creatures into flesh-eating zombies. Soon only a few desperate survivors remain uninfected and they must find a way out of the city before the government takes the only option left and quarantines the entire area.
Unlike previous titles in the series, players of Resident Evil: Outbreak do not play the role of a highly trained S.T.A.R.S. operative, but one of eight ordinary citizens who must rely on their innate survival instincts and unique skills to stay alive.
Resident Evil 4
In Resident Evil 4 players are reacquainted with Leon S. Kennedy, Raccoon City Police Department’s idealistic rookie cop from Resident Evil 2. It has been six years since the destruction of Raccoon City and in that time, the U.S. government has been able to destroy the nefarious Umbrella Corporation. Fast forward to 2004 and players rejoin Leon, who is now a U.S. agent with a top-secret mission. He has been tasked to look into the abduction of the President’s daughter and his investigation has led him to a mysterious location in Europe. As Leon encounters unimaginable horrors, he must find out who or what is behind everything.
