That’s right, folks! The long awaited Resident Evil 5 demo has finally been released to the world! Well, the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Sadly, PS3 users will not be able to take advantage of the new demo as yet. The Resident Evil 5 demo for Xbox 360 is said to feature a rather lengthy three levels set across two stages – Assembly Place and Shanty Town – and will apparently allow you to play co-operatively will an AI comrade, a split screen friend, or a buddy over Xbox Live. How’s that for variety, eh?
In other news: It’s going to be an excellent week for DLC; both Fallout 3 and Mirror’s Edge are set to have some genuinely interesting content released throughout the remainder of the month. Obviously, the new Resident Evil 5 demo should be the first thing you download. Really.
