Resident Evil 5 - 2 Player Online Co-Op
Published by Steve
All of our prayers have been answered: Resident Evil 5 is officially going to sport a very sexy 2 player online co-op feature. I’m sure I speak for all Resident Evil fans when I say: Thank you, Capcom!! Now, if only you would add 2 player co-op to Devil May Cry 5 then then would be like all my birthdays and Christmases rolled into one…
GameSpot today printed a story covering their play through of the first two levels from Resident Evil 5. They even go on to explain how the first level - which is called “Assembly Place” - serves as a sort of introduction-come-tutorial to Resident Evil 5 and helps teach you the basics of the game; both Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar are present at the beginning of the game.
You’ll also learn more about the online co-op component of Resident Evil 5 - which is sounding very exciting indeed. I personally cannot wait to explore the world of Resident Evil 5 online over Xbox LIVE with my friends - it’s going to be an absolute blast! Perhaps we’ll even see some Resident Evil 5 achievements which involve successfully performing tasks as a team - who knows.
Definitely be sure to check out GameSpot’s write-up of their experience with Resident Evil 5.

Ohh hell yeah! This is going to be sweet! I still don’t think that this game is going to come out in October, but that is great to know that there will be co-op. I hope it is better then the co-op on the Wii. That one sucked.
How can you be happy about 2 player co-op thats gonna take all of the creepyness out of it and just gonna make it worse. Co-op sucks for Resident Evil takes all of the fun out.
