Resident Evil 4 sells 500,000+ units

According to the NPD Group, Resident Evil 4 for the GameCube has apparently sold in excess of 500,000 copies to date! That’s an incredible figure indeed, especially for a title that is destined for release on the PS2. I don’t doubt that those figures will more than double when Resident Evil 4 finally hits the Playstation 2 platform later this year.

Resident Evil is further proving itself to be one of the most successful gaming series in history.
