You remember Resident Evil 1.5, don’t you? Oh, that’s right, of course you don’t – it was never released! All we have to prove that Resident Evil 1.5 even existed are the odd video demonstrations that have popped up on YouTube recently, and the occasional leaked screenshot.
Just to clarify: Resident Evil 1.5 was at one point intended to be Resident Evil 2, however it’s a pretty safe bet that the folks at Capcom were able to come up with a much better storyline and scrapped the original content that they have created. Resident Evil 1.5 is basically a glimmer of Resident Evil 2 was going to be before Capcom decided that they could do better.
Well, this 10 minute clip isn’t exactly what you might call “new” but I still figured it would be worth posting for those of you whom want to check out some footage of Resident Evil 1.5 in action before it was canned.
