Remember that Resident Evil 5 themed Xbox 360 Elite I mentioned a little while ago? Well, it turns out the rumours I’d been hearing are entirely true and Microsoft are indeed intending to release a limited edition red Xbox 360 Elite to co-inside with the launch of Resident Evil 5. Apparently, there’s also an official promotional picture of the red Xbox 360 Elite in the ‘Spotlight’ section of the Xbox Live Marketplace but I haven’t checked, myself.
When this new red Xbox 360 Elite gets round to hitting the shops, you can expect it to include a fancy red Xbox 360 controller, black wireless headset (a red one would have been nice), a 120GB hard drive, an exclusive Resident Evil 5 premium dashboard theme (downloaded via Xbox Live), a copy of Resident Evil 5, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix thrown in for good measure. No UK prices have been revealed as yet but our friends from across the pond can expect to pick up this red Xbox 360 Elite bundle for $399.
