Pre-order Resident Evil: Extinction for £12.98 @ Amazon UK

Obviously this latest news post is aimed more at the UK readers of ResidentEvilNews.com but hopefully those of you who live outside of the UK and Ireland area will be able to take advantage of a similar deal at your corresponding Amazon store. Anywho, it appears that Amazon UK really does love us and has decided to show it by offering the highly anticipated Resident Evil: Extinction DVD for only £12.98.

This is an absolutely fantastic price for a brand new DVD, in my opinion. It’s just a shame they are not currently allowing the price of the 2 disc special edition of Resident Evil: Extinction to be disclosed at this time. However, I’m optimistic that it will probably sell for around £15.99.

So, if you’re a fan of the Resident Evil movies and can’t wait to add one more to your collection, then I encourage you to consider pre-ordering Resident Evil Extinction from Amazon UK now and have it delivered to your door on the day of release, which is scheduled for February 18th 2008. Resident Evil: Extinction should also be made available on Blu-ray and HD-DVD format shortly afterwards.

Here’s a brief synopsis of Resident Evil: Extinction:

Resident Evil: Extinction is based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off…

Alice (Milla Jovovich), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti), to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead. Since being captured by the Umbrella Corporation, Alice has been subjected to biogenic experimentation and becomes genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive…
