OMG!!!!!! this looks extremely beautiful i cant wait . this undoubtedly will be like a thousand times better than any of the live action movies i hope it comes out this fall.

You know, a lot of my past memories that I’ve enjoyed have made amazing comebacks a decade later (e.g. Return of Spice Girls, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children). Resident Evil is among one of those. 10 years ago I remember buying RE2 for PSX. The game was so addicting that not only did it became my favorite RE of all time, I spend total nonstop hours playing!! 10 years later, they make a CG film of my two favorite characters, Leon and Claire! Degeneration is undoubtedly going to be an instant classic when it releases hopefully this year!

oyu cant make a RE movie with computer graffics,
it takes away the whole point o the movie, Sexy girls kicking zomie arse..
I will see this movie anyway because theres a chance it might be good..
but i think they’d beter make a fith movie with alice and jill or something.

I’d have to go with Karl here…the live action movies of RE completely destroyed the aura of classic RE games. Anderson’s idea conflicted with the game’s storyline, creating a new storyline that just utilized main things from the game (Umbrella, Raccoon City, T-Virus, Zombies..ect.). I mean, where’s the mansion in the movies? Why is Carlos the captain of Umbrella’s countermeasure team, and Nicholi just a soldier?? I don’t know, everyone may have their own opinion, but I believe they should have went, at least somewhat, with the game’s storyline. Nemesis doing kung fu…pfft, please…..
to be honest the live action resident evil movies are a huge dissapointment because not only do some character look and sound nothing like who they are supposed to be but that even some of the logic makes no sense. For example, Carlos Oliveria looks nothing and sounds nothing like the Carlos in RE 3 and the part in the third movie with the huge truck explosin thus breaking the gate scene had Alice looking at her own clone corpses for about 5 minutes and by then the zombies would of been all over her. I hat the way all of the game characters came out except for Jill who was the closest to being the character shes portraying. with the new CGI movie coming out I am hoping for something really good but I won’t hold my breath.

THIS MOVIE IS GONA ROCK!!! and i agree with adam, the real movies were so of topic,they should have been more true to the awsome games! but i was glad to see wesker. i’m so exited for this movie because leon s.kennedy is my most fav charecter. i’d also like to see chris make an apearence. so does any one know when this is coming to the big screen???

Alas! Sony and CAPCOM Did some SENSE! This IS the resident evil, the true sense and paragon of survival horror. I really am pissed-off as to how Alice spoiled everything and selfishly swallowed every credits that were meant for the original characters like Leon and Claire.
This is the sole reason as to why we can’t let anyone make a movie other that the original Japanese makers. Didn’t they learned what happened to the wasted Final Fantasy: The spirit within? Jeesh! If not for the Final Fantasy: Advent Children, I say that they put some disgraceful thing in the FF history. As for the Overly-murdered Resident evil movies, I say this next movie Resident Evil : Degeneration will make up for what Milla a.k.a Alice’s done like selfishly swallowed every credits that were meant for the true main characters and the major damages to this title as well as for the original protagonists of the story.
Thanks to sony… i can’t wait to watch this movie.

Hey Aaron how old are you? Coz you sound really stupid to be considered legal age!! Did you even played a single RE game? Im guessing NO… N-O!! For us fans the Hollywood remake was a complete perversion of the game. It didnt even have the feel and looks of the game. How can you be thrilled when the heroin have superhuman strenghts and agility not to mention psychic powers?! Are you brain damaged or something.
As for Degeneration this will bring back the Zombie genre all over again, i just know it!! I Cant wait!!

When my sister told me about this new movie which is going to have Leon and Claire in it, I had to stiffle back a scream.
It was like everything was right in the world, for once, since Paul Anderson and Milla caused the RE universe to be out of whack. Alice is not even a ligite RE character, yet Pauly got the rights to Resident Evil and made the sun rise and set in her ass. Lame! Alice is not cooler than Jill or Claire!
God, those movies were AWFUL! I mean, they didn’t have one single character from the game series in the first movie. I think I can speak for all Jill fans that Alice showed her up and I was pissed! And Alice killed Nemesis, which is what Jill is friggin’ famous for! I was glad that she didn’t try to run the show when Claire was there because that is seriously going too far (even though she stole her signiture move from CV). And what’s the deal with waiting to put the bad guy in the third movie? Wesker is the ultimate RE bad guy and Pauly just remembers him now!? Where’s Chris; he’s Capcom’s golden boy and he’s not even mentioned. That bastard better not make Alice fall in love with Chris or Leon (if they ever make an appearence!) or I will hunt him down and shove my foot in his ass.
Degeration is the comeback true fans have been waiting for!

to all the haters, the movies did extremely well in each of their theatrical runs, enough so that i heard they gave the go ahead for a fourth one, and personally, i’d rather wanna see something fresh and original, not a game i’ve beaten a thousand times in movie form, there’d be no shock value, it’d be all been there, done that. I’ve loved re since the beginning, and i thought the movies were great.
