when does this movie come out. I'm excited and can't wait.
When my sister told me about this new movie which is going to have Leon and Claire in it, I had to stiffle back a scream.
It was like everything was right in the world, for once, since Paul Anderson and Milla caused the RE universe to be out of whack. Alice is not even a ligite RE character, yet Pauly got the rights to Resident Evil and made the sun rise and set in her ass. Lame! Alice is not cooler than Jill or Claire!
God, those movies were AWFUL! I mean, they didn't have one single character from the game series in the first movie. I think I can speak for all Jill fans that Alice showed her up and I was pissed! And Alice killed Nemesis, which is what Jill is friggin' famous for! I was glad that she didn't try to run the show when Claire was there because that is seriously going too far (even though she stole her signiture move from CV). And what's the deal with waiting to put the bad guy in the third movie? Wesker is the ultimate RE bad guy and Pauly just remembers him now!? Where's Chris; he's Capcom's golden boy and he's not even mentioned. That bastard better not make Alice fall in love with Chris or Leon (if they ever make an appearence!) or I will hunt him down and shove my foot in his ass.
Degeration is the comeback true fans have been waiting for!

to all the haters, the movies did extremely well in each of their theatrical runs, enough so that i heard they gave the go ahead for a fourth one, and personally, i'd rather wanna see something fresh and original, not a game i've beaten a thousand times in movie form, there'd be no shock value, it'd be all been there, done that. I've loved re since the beginning, and i thought the movies were great.

and it seems to me like you all shelled out the money to see the movies as well, and in case all of you don't realize, alice is infected with the t-veronica virus, and can do all the same things as alexia from cv.
i'm not much into an animated sequel to the resident evil series...whats wrong with finishing it out with a live action movie??? i mean come on alice is still alive and i just think this whole thing will ruin the series...its a resident evil turning final fantasy twist and i don't like it!!!!!
They didn't make Leon good...Leon is way better in RE 4

This film looks awesome!! It's about time an animated version is released.. All resident evil fans will probably appreciate this more than the real life version!! I do agree that Leon looks better in Resi 4 tho lol

When I first heard the news I was afraid it was another rumor spawned by an understandably desperate and hopeful fandom, one that has been heavily abused by the unending string of dissapointments that were the "Alice" movies. But we don't talk about them.
It was not however, a fanciful rumor.
When I saw the first trailer that was released I tried to contain my overwhelming happiness, but lost it when they showed a shot of two very familiar hands wearing very familiar fingerless tactical gloves chambering a round in a handgun.
"Those hands! Those are Kennedy's hands!" I yelled, while my best friend cheered in pure delight. They had done it, they had finally done it.
As more beautiful, badass trailers were released, they promised the dream that true RE fans had been so patiently waiting for, just when it seemed like all hope was lost: A movie that does the world of Resident Evil, and its beloved characters, justice.
Sony. You're my hero.

(And Matt, I know it'd hard to tell and they do look very similar, but Leon's jacket is different from the one in RE4. The RE4 one, my favorite, had the raised collar with cotton faux fur trim around the collar and cuffs, thick leather seams across the front, and no upper pocket. Thieving ganados with their high fashion sense...) XD

This movie is so gonna kick ass! I can't wait till December 30th! I thought that when they were going to make the movie, everything's gonna change even the voice actors. Thank god... resident evil degeneration's gonna rock! FYI: I saw some awesome pictures on yahoo.com. Sony, please release the movie before the new year!
Thankfully i got to see this at the NYC horror fest, A must see for evry RE fan who cried when they saw the live action movies. The movie didnt answer to many questions as other sites suggested it would, If anything it raised a few more. Im not gunna rly say to much and give anything away unless someone ask's for it.
hi to all of re fans....i am 17 & i've seen this movie.good to see that their some characters were indians.fantastic movie.must watchaa movie!!!!!!!!! well it was truly awesome and it was to see many true RE fans shared the same opinion as me abt the live action movies.hope that RE:afterlife will be having leon or chris .it will be a nice sight watching leon or chris kicking wesker's ass.hope that "alice" dies in RE:afterlife and it'll be nice to see leon or chris taking the mantle of main protoganists.............please watch the movie .........

Hollywood failed severely on this project, good action movies, but not Residen Evil. And I can't accept RE fans say that enjoyed those films as RE from games to motion pictures. Thank God Capcom and Sony had to correct that, even with a CGI movie.

Hey dudes I just got the movie today and the graphics was really good; and if you get it, go to the special features and their will be some bloopers. Play the bloopers and enjoy the funniness, but watch the movie first because it will be funnier.
