Famitsu reports in its latest issue that a demo of the latest and greatest in survival horror will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace starting December 5th. Players will be able to sample two stages of play set in that familiar urban setting from past game show demos. These stages will be playable both offline and through co-op.

Those of you who are waiting with anxiously for Capcom to finally announce that Resident Evil 5 will be maed available on the Wii will be very disappointed to hear that Resident Evil 5’s producer, Masachika Kawata, has himself stated that the Wii isn’t even capable of handling the RE5 intro screen. Apparently the graphics on show for the game’s intro screen are just too advanced for the Wii’s last-gen hardware. Read more »

There seems to be a sexy new Resident Evil 5 trailer out, posted by one of our new members, cooliozombie. The Trailer shows some new combat, new environments, and some new Characters. One of which seems very mysterious.

With the release of Resident Evil 5 edging nearer and nearer, has anybody been curious about just what kind of Resident Evil 5 achievements Capcom will have set up for the Xbox 360 version? Personally, I’m the kind of person who loves to see that little “Achievement Unlocked” message spring up at the bottom of my screen as I’m playing. Just a quick post to showcase the new Resident Evil: Degeneration trailer that was made available at Comic-Con ‘08. The trailer’s in glorious high definition, too, so that makes it extra sexy.

Good news, gore fans: Capcom has made it clear that Resident Evil 5 is going to be gory. Very, very gory. Despite the fact that Resident Evil 5 is going to be shipping with a “Mature” and “18″ certificate, Capcom seems unrelenting in toning down the gore levels in order to lower the minimum age requirement.
